Tooth extractions
A tooth extraction is necessary when a tooth is so damaged that it threatens to adversely affect the overall health of the mouth. A severely decayed tooth, for example, often cannot be sufficiently treated with fillings or crowns and may eventually cause infection in adjacent teeth.
